Recent events remind us of the blessings that God has poured out upon us in this country, namely that we live in a so-called peaceful nation. Two weeks ago we underwent an entire shift in government, yet, there were no riots, no outbreaks of violence, and no deaths. In many countries in the world, this is unheard of. In the midst of economic uncertainty, we can be confident that our God "is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8). The ministry of RUF is founded upon the very Word of God and the promises God has made to His people in it. So, we must remind ourselves daily of God's faithfulness to His people throughout history.
