What is RUM? RUF?

Reformed University Ministries is a ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) to college students.  The organization on each college campus is known as Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). Our hope is to reach students with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to equip them to go out into the world to serve in their communities and local churches.

MISSISSIPPI IS WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!  To find out more about the history of RUF, contact us to order a copy of A History of RUM at the Millenium.

Bebo Elkin is the coordinator for the RUF campuses in Mississippi, West Tennessee, the University of Arkansas, and Louisianna State University.  Those campuses are:  The University of Southern Mississippi (which was the first campus to establish an RUF), Mississippi State University, The University of Mississippi, Delta State University, Mississippi College, Belhaven College, The University of Memphis, The University of Arkansas, Louisiana State University, The University of Tennessee at Martin, Hinds Community College, and more recently, Jackson State University (Jackson, MS), Rhodes College (Memphis, TN), and Holmes Community College (Goodman, MS).  Having begun as a collaborative effort by a few men right here in Mississippi (Mark Lowrey, Bill Smith, Ford Williams, Jimmy Turner, and Bebo Elkin), Reformed University Ministries now brings the Gospel to more than 100 colleges and universities across the United States and Canada!
